Meet Our New Coach...
The Utah Rush Nike 94 (U16) girls team will be coached by Eric Landon, the Technical Director of the Utah Rush Soccer Club. Landon holds a USSF "A" License, NSCAA Premier License, USSF Goalkeeping License and a National Youth License.
Eric is also the Goalkeepers Head Coach for the UYSA Olympic Development Program (ODP). He has been involved with the ODP program since 1999, coaching the 85s, 89s, 90s, 91s, 92s, and 93 boys teams. In 2007 Eric was asked be a part of the Real Salt Lake Youth Academy Staff as an Assistant to the U17s. In 2008 Real Salt Lake won the U17 MLS Championships.
Eric is a former professional player with Arizona Sahuaros (USL), San Francisco Bay Seals (A-League), Sacramento Geckoes (A- League) and most recently with the Utah Blitzz (USL). While playing with the Utah Blitzz he was part of the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 Western Conference Championship teams and the 2001 National Championship team.
